1. Agreement
By accessing or using findgamepublishers.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
The Service helps game developers explore which publishers may be a good fit, using signals derived from public Steam store metadata (for example tags, languages, and platforms) and publisher names as shown on Steam. Output may include reports, rankings, or summaries. The Service does not guarantee introductions, deals, or responses from any publisher.
During early access, the Service may be offered as a waitlist. Joining the waitlist does not create an account and does not guarantee access or timing of launch.
When full access is available, completed reports may be stored in connection with your account so you can list and download them again from your account area. We may also send reports (or links to them) by email to the address on your account.
3. Waitlist
If you join the waitlist, you provide an email address so we can notify you when early access opens. You agree to receive that transactional message. We do not use the waitlist for unrelated marketing without your consent. You may contact us to request removal from the waitlist. How we handle waitlist data is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Accounts
You may need an account and may sign in using options we make available (including third-party identity providers where offered). You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate contact information where requested.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable law or third-party rights.
- Scrape, overload, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or security controls.
- Upload unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content (including malware or spam).
- Misrepresent your identity, your game, or your relationship to any publisher.
6. Third parties
Steam, Valve, and publishers are third parties. The Service is not affiliated with Valve or Steam. Publisher and game data reflects public store information at the time it was processed; it may be incomplete or outdated.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its branding, and its software are owned by the operator or its licensors. You retain rights to content you submit; you grant the operator a limited licence to host, process, and display that content as needed to run the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Reports are informational only and not investment, legal, or business advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Aggregate liability for direct damages may be capped where permitted by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the revised version and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
